TaleWeavers, the seat weaving specialists, is now located in central Pennsylvania with a shop in Aaronsburg, PA. Ryan and Lauren (Elliott) Ertsgaard serve clients living in the Williamsport, State College, Lock Haven, Huntingdon, Lewisburg, and Altoona areas.

Welcome to TaleWeavers -- Neat Seats,
Ryan and I are ready to assist you in restoring your antique furniture and family heirloom chairs and rockers that need hand woven seats. We are equipped to do hand caning, cane webbing, fiber rush (paper or natural rush), and many other types of woven seats. We have been trained by Lauren's father, Charles Elliott, owner of TaleWeavers.
Fiber Rush
Rush seats can rewoven. Rush material is either paper rush (brown or antique gold) or natural (hand-twisted seagrass).
Chair Caning
Chair caning includes both hand caning and the instalation of prewoven caning material in the seat and/or back areas of a chair.
